HHI
HHI is the acronym widely used to refer to the Herfindahl-Hirschman Index, a measure of market concentration. HHI index ranges from close to zero (a competitive marketplace) to 10,000 ( domination of a market by a single entity, a monopoly) .It is calculated by squaring the market share of each firm competing in a market, and then summing the resulting numbers.

ISO 26000 is the acronym used to refer to an ISO Standard that provides guidance on how businesses and organizations can operate in a socially responsible way. This means acting in an ethical and transparent way that contributes to the health and welfare of society.
Biogenic
Biogenic emissions: Emissions that result from natural biological processes, such as the decomposition of vegetative matter. Biogenic emissions include emissions of volatile organic compounds from vegetation and emissions of nitrogen oxides from soil that are not caused by human direct or indirect activities.
Anthropogenic
Anthropogenic emissions: Emissions of greenhouse gas emissions that are produced as a result of human activities. The IPCC describes anthropogenic emissions as: “Emissions of greenhouse gases, greenhouse gas precursors, and aerosols associated with human activities. These include burning of fossil fuels (coal, oil and natural gas) for energy, deforestation, and land-use changes that result in net increase in emissions”.
IEAP
IEAP is the acronym used to refer to the “International Local Government Greenhouse Gas Emissions Analysis Protocol”. IEAP is a guidance document providing general principles and advice for the process of establishing GHG Inventories for local government operations and the community as a whole.
FCOP
FCOP is the acronym used to refer to the British Columbia developed Forest Carbon Offset Protocol (FCOP) that was designated by the Ministry of Environment on August 12, 2011.
ISO 14066
ISO 14066 is the acronym used to refer to an ISO Standard specifying the competence requirements for greenhouse gas validation and verification teams.

GRI is the acronym widely used to refer to the “Global Reporting Initiative ”. GRI is network-based organization used as a sustainability reporting framework.
